N’duja Room

We decided to give the name “N’Duja” to this room because this product is really the most unique of the Calabria region in the sense that it’s produced just in this region and you find it in the rest of the world as imported from here. Nobody can produce the “N’Duja” out of Calabria. The recipe is in fact a “secret”! If you are curious we will reveal later what it is. Coming back to the room, we can describe it as one of the biggest ones. It can be for two or three people, it has internal bathroom and a big window on the back garden. It’s peaceful and very comfortable. The beds are 2: one king sized and 1 single bed. Despite the name which refers to spicy food, the room has a lovely, romantic and relaxing atmosphere characterized by privacy, TV and, of course, air conditioning.

Ok now we can reveal what the N’Duja is: it’s a spicy creamy meat produced by the pork in a city called Spilinga. Nobody knows how. It’s used in many typical dishes: inside rice balls (arancini), in the tomato sauce on pasta, on the pizza and as an aperitivo with bruschetta… The appearance is not so inviting maybe but we assure, it’s tasty!
